It's Summer now. It is my least favorite season because it is so hot. I have a thick, double fur coat. My opinion about temperature is "the cooler, the better!" BOL!
I am soooooo happy I have a ChillSpot! The world's coolest dog bed is making Summer more comfortable for me.
You may remember that I received my ChillSpot when I went to BarkWorld 2012. It wasn't really hot back then, so I decided to write a Summer update to my original review.
It gets really hot here in Summer. I think our average temperature for Summer is in the 90s. It has been known to get into the 100s each year as well. I even get hot inside. Mom keeps our air conditioner set to 76, but on really hot days, it just doesn't seem to work.
This year I have a place to cool off. Instead of panting on the kitchen floor, I can lay on my ChillSpot bed in the living room. On hot days, Mom gets the frozen pods out of the freezer and puts them in my ChillSpot. Then I can lay on my ChillSpot and cool off.
Mom has started to leave one tile uncovered to see if I like the covered side more. I like both sides, but when I am really hot, the uncovered side seems just a little bit cooler. Now that it is Summer, I am using my ChillSpot everyday. It is my favorite napping spot.

This is very cool. I've seen similar products but never this particular one. I have to work really hard to make sure Kayo is comfortable on really hot days but they're so few and far between where I live that it's not too bad. But I'll look into the ChillSpot for those rare days!
