I want to share these educational pictures in case anyone needs a reminder, or an easy way to educate other people about the danger of heatstroke - hot cars. I think most of my pals' humans know not to leave them in hot cars, but they may see other people who need to learn.
A crack in the window doesn't really help.
A car is like a greenhouse - it magnifies and stores heat.

Stay cool and safe everyone!
Pawfect, Pepper! As you know from my post yesterday, people still need reminding about this (which I think is unbelievable, but what do I know)!

That poor, sweet little face says it all!! Thanks for reminding us of this important item.
ReplyDeleteThis is something that's been getting some great attention lately! So many more people are willing to do something if they see a pet stuck in a hot car than even just a few years ago it seems.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that more people are learning. Would be nice if they could all learn.

Bringing a dog everywhere is an effort. I go with Mom because it is my job. She could probably run errands faster alone, but she can't go alone.

I suppose I should clarify that I am never left alone in the car. I go inside everyplace with Mom.

Thanks for sharing! I've had to call the police for this before but the ones in our town don't take it seriously. Neither do the grocery store managers or the IHOP managers.
ReplyDeleteThat is awful that the authorities don't take it seriously.

Pepper
Hard to believe people need to be told this - sad actually but it is that way!
ReplyDeleteSo true Emma.
