PopWare KlipScoop - Pet Product Review and Giveaway, Plus aTravel Cup Giveaway

Finally!  An easy and convenient way to control pet food serving sizes!

PopWare is concerned about pet health.  The obesity trend in today's pets is alarming; too many pets are overweight and overfed.
Scoop and measure your food in one step!
To help owners manage the pet obesity problem, PopWare has developed the KlipScoop!  The KlipScoop is a collapsible 3-in-1 tool.  It serves as a food scoop, measuring cup, and bag clip.  With KlipScoop, the food is measured as your human scoops it from the bag.
Pawsonally, I think it could have a fourth use - food bowl!  (Well, the human would need to hold it steady for the pet to eat out of it.  BOL!)  Who wants to wait for their human to pour it into their regular bowl?  The sooner the better - right?  BOL!
The PopWare KlipScoop won a Becker's Best award at Global Pet Expo 2013!
Are you ready for a little reality check?

Overeating isn't the animal's fault; overfeeding is the human's fault.
Here are a couple of tips for human pet owners
1.  If your pet is spayed or neutered, and not very active; use the smallest recommended amount on the bag (for your pet's size), and divide it in half.   Doing so will give you a more appropriate amount to feed your pet.
2.  When you give your pet treats, feed it a little less food to balance the total calories.

Use the clip part of the KlipScoop to close your food, and keep it fresh.
(Mom also stores my bag in an airtight container, because it takes me a long time to eat a whole bag of food.)
With KlipScoop, your humans will know how much they are feeding you at each meal.   Your humans can still buy that economy sized bag of food, but now there is no excuse for feeding more than the planned amount.

KlipScoop is simple and easy to use.  It is conveniently clipped to the bag, so there is no need to go looking in every drawer for it.   It collapses, so it isn't bulky.   It is even dishwasher safe.  They can't make it any easier than that!

PopWare is also known for the collapsible travel bowl (with bottle holder), like the one on my water bottle.
KlipScoop is available in 3 sizes and in 3 colors.  You can get the size you need, in the color you want!  The available sizes are half cup, one cup, and 2 cup.  The available colors are pink, green, and purple.  I have the 1/2 cup size KlipScoop in pink!  I also have a purple 1 cup size.

How much food do you get per meal?  Is it measured?  How many meals per day?  Do you get extra treats?  Does your human really know how much you are eating?
I have an extra purple travel cup (without bottle holder).  It was a gift from the PopWare (http://store.dexas.com/) booth at Global Pet Expo.

  2. Great article pal. I am one of those overweight kitties (hangs head in shame). But M has had me on measured kibble every day for about 2 years now. I haven't really lost very much weight, but I haven't been gaining either. She's trying to increase my exercise by playing with me more. I'd love one of those scoops.

  4. Gizmo gets one cup total per day. I leave a 1/2 cup measuring cup in the bag (which like yours is then stored in an airtight container) and measure each serving. he may also have 3 or 4 treats per day, depending on size and activity...And as you know, he's fit and in great shape these days

My husband does the feeding of Dakota and measures his food (and keeps stealing my measuring cups lol) I honestly don't know what he has cut him down to
I measure Cody (my cat) when he eats dry food and he is supposed to have approx 1/4 cup per day of dry and then 1/3 of a can of wet at 2 meals.

  10. Luna gets a half cup for breakfast and a half cup for dinner, but less if she gets lots of snacks. Right now we just use a regular measuring cup. These look much better!

  14. Chester and Gretel get fed twice a day. Generally, they get 1/4 cup in the morning and 1/4 cup in the evening. I adjust it up and down as needed based on their activity level and to maintain their current weight.
