While I was at BlogPaws 2012 I learned about a new flea preventative called PetArmor.
I did not pawsonally test this product due to location issues. Some of you may know about my flea issue a few years ago when I moved into a rental house that was infested. It cost Mom hundreds of dollars and took several months to kill those nasty bugs! I was on Frontline Plus at the time, it had worked great in my previous house (in a different area of the state). I had never had a flea until we moved into the rental home. It turns out the area we moved to was a testing area and our fleas were resistant to Frontline. While I live in this area, I need to use Advantix, it is one of the few things that works here.
Because I have past experience with Frontline as an effective treatment in other locations, I feel comfortable recommending PetArmor.
For those pals who would like to read a first-paw experience with PetArmor; a good pal of mine uses it, please read Baby Pom's story at: Whirlwind of Surprises
I have a few sample packs to give away if you would like to try it pawsonally! Please enter the rafflecopter form below for a chance to win a 3 month supply of PetArmor for one dog or cat.

Pepper,
ReplyDeleteI'm going for the tubes for cats!
My vet does not recommend Pet Armor and does not consider it safe and effective as Frontline or Advantage. Just wanted to let you know!
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting me know what your vet said. I always check with my vet before using a new pesticide. But I didn't pawsonally use this one because of the special bugs we have, so I didn't make an appointment to ask him. Pal's pawsonal experience and their vet's statements are always welcome. (I don't listen to internet rumor sites because they are unreliable and there is a scare story for everything in existence.) Again, Thank you for sharing your vet's statement.

Pepper
